About Me
Hello
As a seasoned creative director, strategic thinker, and problem solver, I lead with inspiration and clear direction. As a filmmaker, I've had the privilege of writing and directing for some of the biggest brands in the world. As a creative leader, I'm proud of my successful track record of streamlining production across diverse work environments. I work from both creative and business perspectives, drawing from my agency experience and now owning my own production company. I enjoy working on budgets and assembling the development and production team.
I'm well-versed in all aspects of advertising and brand building, from strategy to concept and ideation to production. I lead others with collaboration in mind, whether that's strategically orchestrating teams or mentoring new talent. I truly believe that great work comes with strong leadership and collaborative thinking. Having a sense of humor and being compassionate to others always helps, too.
Before starting my directing career, I was an award-winning advertising creative director for agencies worldwide. I've completed six short films and a feature documentary. My films have screened and won awards at film festivals around the world, including top festivals. My filmography includes the feature documentary AMERICAN AUTO and short films ESPERAME, SPERFECT, MUSEUM FOR THE PEOPLE, and NO PLACE TO FALL. Additionally, my film FIVE won Best Film at the Versi di Luce Film Festival for Poetry and Best Short Film at the Madrid International Film Festival. My short film ANNIVERSARIO won BEST DIRECTOR at the Oscar qualifying Rhode Island International Film Festival.
I've collaborated and shot with filmmakers from Italy, France, Tokyo, and Argentina. My creative work has earned gold, silver, and bronze awards at events such as the Cannes International Advertising Festival, the New York One Club, the Clios, and the British Design and Art Directors Club, including a commercial Emmy for a PSA recognizing fallen rescue workers. I've been guided and mentored by Judy Hoffman, Albert Maysles, and Wim Wenders. I am an alumnus of the Berlinale Talent Campus, Reykjavik Int'l Film Festival Talent Lab, and the Directors Guild of America.
